Recently, the IsaDora Bohemian Flair collection was launched. It is a beautiful autumn collection and it makes me really excited! Autumn is actually my favorite time of the year and the colors in this collection make me longing for colder weather and autumn leaves. The collection is quite big, consisting of nail polishes, lipsticks, lip liners, blushes, eye shadow quartets, a mascara and a brow gel. I haven’t tried all of the products but I’ve tried the nail polishes and some of the lip products. The colors are a mix of darker autumnal shades and some nude shades.
The IsaDora Bohemian Flair collection is in stores now and you can find it at e.g. Eleven.se and Nelly.com. The nail polishes cost 79 SEK, the lipliners cost 89 SEK and the lipsticks cost 139 SEK. Below you can see my swatches of the nail polishes and a review of the lip products that I’ve tried.
Firstly we have this very dark brown nail polish called 541 Choco Chic. It’s a creme polish, meaning no shimmer or glitter, and I applied two coats for full coverage. I love darker shades like this one for autumn – it doesn’t look as harsh as a black polish but it’s still a really deep, dark shade.
Next up we have 540 Purple Paisley which is a dark purple creme polish. Purple is actually not a favorite of mine when it comes to nail polish but this is definitely a very autumnal shade. To get full coverage I applied two coats of this polish.
The third and last polish in this collection is called 539 Soft Suede. As the other polishes, it’s a creme polish and two coats give full opacity. This is a super trendy color at the moment and I think it looks gorgeous on the nails. It’s so easy to wear and goes well with every autumn outfit. The shade is quite interesting, I would say it’s a light brown or very dark nude polish with hints of pink/purple.
I was so glad I got some lip products to try from this collection since I really like the colors. Firstly we have this one called Lip Desire Sculpting Lipstick in 52 Praline. It’s a very nice nude shade, a little bit lighter than my natural lips, and what I like the most is that it’s super creamy. I’ve been using mostly matte liquid lipsticks the past year which are very drying on the lips. The Lip Desire Sculpting Lipsticks are not dry at all and are so comfortable to wear. The pen shape of the lipstick makes it very easy to apply. The thought behind this product is to use it for lip contouring which is a big trend at the moment. According to IsaDora, lip contouring is about adding volume to the lips and make them look flawless. Even though I didn’t manage to make my lips look more voluminous, I was surprised over how long the lipstick lasted on the lips. This shade will definitely be an everyday favorite!
I would say the color is a bit lighter than what the picture above shows, but of course that depends on your natural lip color. A new favorite!
In the Bohemian Flair collection there are also matching lipliners to every shade of lipstick. This lipliner is called Sculpting Lipliner in 68 Rum Raisin and goes perfectly together with the lipstick below. The lipliner can be twisted up so there’s no need to sharpen it, which I really like. The lipliner is waterproof and it’s supposed to make the lipstick stay inside the contour of your lips.
The last lip product I’ve tried from this collection is called Lip Desire Sculpting Lipstick in 68 Rum Raisin. This is the PERFECT autumn shade if you’re a bit bold. The color is a very dark purple shade and not as easy to wear as the nude one shown above. However, I think this lipstick is gorgeous! As the other lipstick, this one is also very creamy which makes it easy to wear and it was easily removed with some jojoba oil. I’ll definitely bring out this lipstick if there are any special events this autumn.
Again, here is a picture borrowed from IsaDora showing the color of this super deep and rich lipstick. It’s so beautiful!
