Depend has released two Christmas/winter collections this year and in this blog post I’ll show you the Season Sparkle collection. This collection contains 8 polishes with the 7day formula. The 7day formula is 5-free (free from 5 dangerous chemicals commonly used in nail polishes) and it is longer lasting than Depend’s regular polishes. All polishes in this collection have a shiny, glitter finish which is perfect for the holiday season!
If you’re interested in buying any of these polishes, you can find them on Lyko.
In the manicure below I used Santa Wishes together with a white stamping polish from Depend. This mani is super simple to create! All you need is a dotting tool and then you’ll end up with a super cute Christmas manicure. Take a look at the video to see how I did.

The Essie winter 2016 collection is here! A stunning collection with six polishes in varying shades. The collection is inspired by the swinging sixties in London and what I like the most about this collection is that it doesn’t only contain traditional Christmas colors but also a pink and a blue shade.
The collection contains six different polishes and Essie describes them like this:
Go with the flowy – cloudlike dove gray
Satin sister – sleek ebony peacock blue
Getting groovy – metallic gold palladium
Oh behave! – minx peach frost
Party on a platform – London garnet red
Ready to boa – glistening bronzed mahogany
My personal favorite is Go with the flowy. This light gray polish contains tiny glitter pieces which you can see if you take a close look at the picture below.
If you’re interested in buying these gorgeous nail polishes you can find them on these web shops:
Formula X has released a gorgeous box of nail polishes called Formula X in the city. It contains 10 polishes whereof seven are classic shades and three are new, limited edition ones. The polishes are a mix of creme, shimmer and glitter polishes and they are perfect for the winter season. I must say I absolutely love the packaging and it’s a perfect Christmas gift for nail polish lovers! Also, each house section can be separated and there is a gift tag on the back if you’d like to give the polishes as separate gifts. You can buy the Formula X in the city box at Sephora and it retails for 300 SEK.
In the box you find the shades:
Fahrenheit – cold red
Obsessed – dark wine red
Majestic – navy blue
Epiphany – gold shimmer
Freaky Like Freud – blue, iridescent glitter
White Matter – white
Intensity – powder pink
Ladies First – dark powder pink
Perfection – beige/purple
This is actually my first winter mani of the year and it was so fun to do! All polishes used are from the Formula X in the city box. The blue background is Majestic, the glitter is Freaky Like Freud and the white is White Matters. The trees are hand-painted using white acrylic paint. Check out the video below to see how I did!
